Who should Real Madrid target this summer? Would Verratti be the right man to protect the defence?

Wonder how Benitez will play it or if he will really have a choice.

Who would they take in midfield out of the top CL sides?

Last year they lost Alonso and got in Kroos so you'd think they have deep playmaker covered.

So they'd need a couple more midfield engines for me, multi purpose players

Pogba?
Ramirez?
Rakitic?
Veratti?
Medel?
Its a dirty job but someone's got to do it.

Kroos is not really a deep playmaker though, he wants to be further forward and does not offer a shield to the defence. They really need to replace Alonso with a defensive midfielder.

Real really need a very good defensive midfielder a De Rossi type is what comes to mine somebody who just wants to sit infront of the back four and defend.Ancelloti being sacked was a mistake he couldn't help the fact that his fullbacks spend most of the time in the opposition half and that Ramos and Pepe are one of the worst centre half pairings in world football
